Job Description
Job Summary:
The Revenue Manager is responsible for optimizing the revenue potential of the hotel by analyzing and implementing strategies across pricing, inventory management, and demand forecasting. This position requires a deep understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior, with the goal of maximizing profitability for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement pricing and revenue management strategies to maximize revenue and profitability. Analyze data to make informed decisions about pricing, availability, and demand patterns.
- Produce accurate short- and long-term demand forecasts to ensure inventory levels align with predicted demand. Adjust strategies based on fluctuations in demand and market conditions.
- Monitor and analyze competitor pricing, promotions, and market trends. Assess performance through competitor benchmarking and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on revenue performance, key metrics, and trends. Utilize data analysis tools and dashboards to monitor KPIs, ensuring goals are met or exceeded.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment between promotional activities, pricing strategies, and revenue goals.
- Oversee and optimize the distribution of inventory across all channels (OTAs, direct booking, etc.) to ensure maximum revenue generation.
- Manage and control inventory to ensure the right balance between occupancy and rate to maximize RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room), ADR (Average Daily Rate), or other relevant metrics.
- Use segmentation data to target the most profitable customer groups and ensure the right product is offered to the right customer at the right time.
- Maintain and use revenue management systems (RMS) and other business intelligence tools to analyze data and implement strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related field. A master's degree or certification in Revenue Management is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in revenue management, pricing, or a related field, preferably within hospitality.
Skills:

· Proficiency in revenue management systems, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
