Position: Senior Accountant

Job Description

Position Overview: The Senior Accountant will oversee the financial operations of the supermarket, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and efficient management of financial processes

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and variance analysis.
• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices and collection of receivables.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
• Work closely with inventory management to ensure accurate valuation and reporting of stock.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' of professional accounting experience
• Mandatory Accounting experience in audit firm.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
