Job Description
Accounting & Bookkeeping:
Maintain and manage day-to-day financial records in Tally Accounting Software
Ensure accurate data entry, ledger maintenance, and inventory accounting
Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, and journal entries
Bank & Financial Reconciliation:
Perform regular bank reconciliations
Reconcile receivables, payables, and cash/bank balances with accuracy
Taxation & Compliance:
Prepare and file VAT returns, TDS deductions, and ensure timely tax payments
Handle VAT billing and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulatory requirements
Maintain proper documentation for tax audits and compliance checks
Reporting & Analysis:
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
Prepare financial reports, sales summaries, and tax reports for management review
Support external auditors with necessary financial data and documentation
Coordination & Documentation:
Liaise with banks, tax authorities, and government offices as required
Maintain updated records of all statutory filings and financial compliance documents
Job Specification
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting and taxation
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
Proficient in Tally ERP or similar accounting software
In-depth knowledge of VAT, TDS, and Nepalese tax regulations
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks
Good communication skills (verbal and written) in Nepali and English
Ability to work independently and take ownership of accounting functions
Other Requirements:
Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license
Should reside in or near the Lalitpur periphery
