Job Description
Role Overview
As the Photo & Video Editor, you will be responsible for turning raw photography and videography into compelling visual content that aligns with Meesaa’s brand identity. This includes editing product shots, lifestyle images, and short videos for social media, e-commerce, and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Photo Editing
- Retouch jewellery product photos for web and print
- Colour correct and enhance detail while maintaining product authenticity
- Batch edit and organize files for e-commerce and catalog use
- Video Editing
- Edit short-form videos (Instagram Reels, TikToks, ads) from raw footage
- Add transitions, text overlays, music, and motion graphics
- Apply colour grading and audio sync to elevate video quality
- Content Management
- Organize and archive all media assets for future use
- Optimize content for various platforms (social, website, paid ads)
- Collaboration
- Work closely with the Photographer/Videographer and the Marketing Team
- Follow creative briefs and meet content deadlines
Job Specification
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience as a photo and/or video editor
- Proficient in:
- Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop (for photo retouching)
- Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects or Final Cut Pro (for video editing)
- Strong sense of aesthetics, colour, and detail
- Experience editing content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
- Ability to handle fast turnarounds and tight deadlines
- Portfolio or showreel of past work is required
Nice to Have
- Experience editing jewellery or fashion-related content
- Motion graphics or animation experience
- Familiarity with Canva or basic graphic design tools
