Job Description

The Finance Officer is responsible for managing the financial transactions and records of the organization. S/he is to ensure the financial stability of an organization by managing its budget, forecasting financial trends, and creating financial reports.

Roles and Responsibilities

Prepare Financial Reports

  • Maintaining financial records and ensuring their accuracy.
  • Monitoring cash flow and preparing cash flow statements.
  • Preparing and submitting financial reports to senior management.
  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax laws.
  • Monitor all bank deposits and payments.
  • Prepare Invoices, issue credit note.
  • Sales entry, purchase entry, JV entry, Cash entry, Bank entry
  • Cash and Bank reconciliation
  • Party ledger reconciliation on timely basis
  • Follow up with customers for Receivable management.
  • Cooperation with sales team on daily basis
  • Prepare monthly financial statements

Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Developing and maintaining financial policies and procedures.
  • Managing budgets and ensuring that they are followed.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly payment plan.
  • Preparing AOP Vs Actual budget and find out the reason for difference.

Finance Analysis

  • Analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve problems.
  • Contribute to financial audits.

Coordination

  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and up to date.
  • Other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Competencies and Soft Skills

  • Should have knowledge of VAT and TAX.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
