Job Description
The Finance Officer is responsible for managing the financial transactions and records of the organization. S/he is to ensure the financial stability of an organization by managing its budget, forecasting financial trends, and creating financial reports.
Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare Financial Reports
- Maintaining financial records and ensuring their accuracy.
- Monitoring cash flow and preparing cash flow statements.
- Preparing and submitting financial reports to senior management.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Ensuring compliance with tax laws.
- Monitor all bank deposits and payments.
- Prepare Invoices, issue credit note.
- Sales entry, purchase entry, JV entry, Cash entry, Bank entry
- Cash and Bank reconciliation
- Party ledger reconciliation on timely basis
- Follow up with customers for Receivable management.
- Cooperation with sales team on daily basis
- Prepare monthly financial statements
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Developing and maintaining financial policies and procedures.
- Managing budgets and ensuring that they are followed.
- Preparing weekly and monthly payment plan.
- Preparing AOP Vs Actual budget and find out the reason for difference.
Finance Analysis
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve problems.
- Contribute to financial audits.
Coordination
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and up to date.
- Other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Job Specification
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Competencies and Soft Skills
- Should have knowledge of VAT and TAX.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail.
