Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual targets.
- Expand retail, wholesale, and modern trade distribution.
- Monitor daily sales performance and team KPIs.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Plan and implement marketing campaigns (online/offline).
- Oversee product launches, promotions, and branding activities.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and consumer behavior.
Distribution Management
- Manage supply chain coordination with logistics and warehouse teams.
- Identify and onboard new distributors and retailers.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and lead the sales and marketing team.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
Client Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Handle major sales accounts and ensure client satisfaction.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare detailed reports on sales performance and market activities.
- Analyze sales data to forecast trends and make informed decisions.
Job Specification
- Strong knowledge of FMCG and cold chain/frozen product distribution.
- Excellent sales planning and team leadership skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Ability to handle field marketing and manage multiple distribution channels.
- Good understanding of digital marketing and market trends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience is key: Prioritize candidates with hands-on field experience in FMCG or cold storage items.
- Local market knowledge: Hire someone who understands Nepali consumer behavior and regional logistics.
