Job Description
As a Japanese Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Japanese language instruction to students at various levels. You will create engaging lesson plans, teach grammar and vocabulary, and guide students through conversations and written exercises. You will foster a supportive and motivating environment for students to learn and appreciate the Japanese language and culture
- Lesson Planning and Teaching: Prepare and deliver lessons that are aligned with curriculum goals and tailored to the level of the students (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
- Language Skills Development: Teach students how to speak, read, write, and understand Japanese through grammar, vocabulary, and cultural context.
- Assessment: Regularly assess students' progress through assignments, quizzes, exams, and oral presentations. Provide feedback and guidance to help students improve.
- Cultural Integration: Incorporate aspects of Japanese culture, customs, and traditions into lessons to enhance students' understanding of the language in a cultural context.
- Classroom Management: Create and maintain a positive and interactive learning environment, ensuring that students remain engaged and motivated.
- Student Support: Provide additional support to students who may need extra help, including individual tutoring or office hours.
- Resource Development: Create or recommend supplemental learning materials (books, videos, online resources) to support language acquisition.
- Collaboration: Work with fellow teachers and staff to coordinate activities, events, and cultural programs that promote the study of Japanese language and culture.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest educational tools and language learning techniques to continuously improve teaching methods.
Job Specification
- Minimum qualification N3 level pass or equivalent
- Able to teach up to N5 level

- Patience and adaptability to work with students of different learning styles and paces.
- Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) certification, preferably at N2 level or higher
- Enthusiasm for teaching and fostering a love of language and culture.
- Experience using interactive language learning tools, apps, or digital platforms
