Job Description
- Should assist purchase manager in implementing and managing all store inventory-related purchases, policies, strategies and processes.
- Must assist in ensuring the company establishes fair and competitive policies and practices for all suppliers in a clear and concise manner under the guidance of the purchase manage in order to ensure that the company is able to obtain the best prices, goods return and credit terms in the industry.
- Day to day work will involve ordering goods from suppliers, following up with them for efficient delivery, allocation of goods to our outlets and obtaining details about the products ordered.
- The purchase officer is required to closely cooperate with the Operations Dept, Warehouse Dept, and Finance Dept to help for ensuring that all the company outlets are well stocked with the optimum level of goods to ensure the highest level of sales possible.
Job Specification
- Must be a graduate preferably with a degree in Bachelor in Commerce/Business.
- Must have worked at least 2 years in a well reputed convenience or department store.
- Must be proficient in the use of computer applications such MS Excel, Word etc.
