Job Description
As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of the store, responsible for creating a welcoming and helpful shopping experience for all customers. You will assist customers in locating products, completing purchases, and maintaining a well-organized and clean store environment. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, proactive, and committed to contributing to the store’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service at all times
Assist shoppers in locating the products they are looking for
Process transactions efficiently using cash registers or POS systems
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store
Replenish stock on shelves and ensure merchandise displays are neat and attractive
Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly
Stay updated on product information, store promotions, and sales targets
Support colleagues and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
Follow company policies and procedures on returns, exchanges, and refunds
Job Specification
Education:
Bachelor's degree (BBA/BBS) completed or currently in final year
Experience:
Prior experience in retail sales is a plus, but freshers with the right attitude are encouraged to apply
Skills and Attributes:
Pleasant personality with a customer-first attitude
Basic knowledge of computer operations and sales processes
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems accurately
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
Team player with a proactive and flexible approach
