- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, plans, and initiatives to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals analyzing market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Train and lead a team of sales representatives within the designated area setting clear sales goals and targets for the team and provide guidance, motivation, and mentoring to achieve them.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retail partners understanding client needs and concerns and provide effective solutions, ensuring high client satisfaction.
- Identify and evaluate potential new clients, partners, and distribution channels to expand market reach collaborating with marketing and product development teams to launch new products and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, tracking individual and team achievements implement performance metrics and sales reporting systems.
- Provide support and guidance to the sales team, addressing their challenges and providing necessary training and resources.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and potential opportunities utilizing data-driven insights to refine sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales contracts.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and sales team management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in sales tracking and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of the local market and industry trends.
