Job Description

Corporate Title: Officer – O1
Department: GSD Department
Reports To: Operations In-charge/ GCOO

Job Overview:
GSD Officer is responsible for initiation, development and implementation of Management Software of General Services Department, most importantly Inventory and Fixed Assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure to follow proper inventory management procedures, sample stock of regular items
  • (Stationeries, Cleaning Supplies, other inventories), Ensure issue of items and follow proper procedures
  • Complete entire Property and Assets Registers - based on company, Update the custodians and details of each assets and follow procedures in changes of ownerships
  • Ensure repair and maintenance procedures are followed.
  • Ensure timely repair and maintenance of all property assets
  • Prepare Reports and perform functions based on the need of the hour and department

Job Specification

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in operation of Fixed Assets and Inventory Management Systems, also have experience in financial reporting and accounts management
  • Experience with Budget planning, report making and the like

Key Skills/ Knowledge:

  • High knowledge of procurement and asset management software
  • Administrative writing and report skills
  • Good knowledge about Laptops, Desktops and IT accessories
  • Office Packages
