Job Description
- Scanning goods and ensuring that pricing is accurate
- Collecting payments and returning balance amount using essential mathematical functions
- Using registers, scanners, scales, and credit/debit card terminals to collect money
- Handling exchanges and refunds rapidly and easily
- Maintaining accurate cash drawer
- Tallying the funds in the cash register
- Preparing transaction reports
- Balancing cash drawers by counting cash at the opening and closing of each work shift
- Making a separate entry for daily expenses
- Responding to basic questions of customers
- Providing pricing information to customers
- Complying with the procedures, rules, and regulations
- Helping in keeping the workspace environment safe and clean
- Being fair, friendly, and courteous with service
- Ensuring the great customer experience
