Job Description
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, with a focus on international suppliers and customers.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including those related to foreign currency transactions and landed costs.
- Manage inventory accounting, including tracking goods from purchase order to receipt and sale.
- Calculate and analyze landed costs, including freight, duties, and other import-related expenses.
- Reconcile bank statements
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports, providing insights into import costs and profitability.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist with audits and tax preparation,
- Stay up-to-date on import/export regulations and accounting best practices.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CA, CPA) preferred but not mandatory.
Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a trading, import/export, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with international suppliers/customers and foreign currency transactions is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and journal entry preparation.
- Proficient in managing accounts payable/receivable processes.
- Experience in inventory and landed cost accounting (freight, customs, duties, etc.).
- Familiarity with import/export regulations and financial compliance.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
- Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
