Job Description

CBM International is an international development organization committed to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities in the poorest communities of the world irrespective of race, gender or religious belief. Our work in Nepal spans across 36 districts and based on a programmatic approach to ensure rehabilitation and inclusive development of persons with disabilities in partnership with local organizations.

Job Title: Office Assistant

Objective

The Office Assistant is responsible for handling front office reception and administration duties, including preparing memos, letters, Receipt notes, and correspondences when required.

Job Specification

Education and experience:

  • Intermediate (+2 degree), preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/other relevant subject
  • At least one-year experience in administration function
  • Good Communication Skills in English and Nepali (oral & verbal)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency computer skills like Microsoft Word & Excel including Nepali typing

Detail Job description as below:

  • Answer incoming calls and receptionist duties
  • Update incoming/outgoing mail register, Visitor Log Book etc.
  • Handle official travel bookings including flight and road travel for 
  • Handle visa processing for staff and visitors as per requirement
  • Handle Fleet management and maintain log-book 
  • Assets coding, transfer, and record keeping along with bi-annual physical verification.
  • Maintain office equipment, including laptops, printers and photocopy machines
  • Maintain office supplies by checking inventory and update store records
  • Management of Petty Cash for the office
  • Track weekly whereabouts of all staffs
  • Update of leave records along with leave request and tracking of staff
  • Support on official banking processes
  • Ensure vouchers are serially numbered, files are indexed and documentation are maintained and is retrievable
  • Support finance for collectively bills/vouchers to make sure that all the bills are received and acknowledged by the requestor and timely paid.
  • Carry out functions related to day to day office management and administration
  • Any other responsibilities as delegated.

Basic Annual Salary Range 300,000- 360,000
