Position: Mid-Senior Frontend Developer (Recent Job)

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Develop website, web app and API and any other apps using Ruby on Rails or other frameworks from scratch based on each client's requirements
• Review other people's code
• Communicate with a foreign team for any improvement in the company
• Implement features, fix bugs and refactor code of existing apps
• Discuss technical requirements, database structures, code styles and performances with other developers

Salary

• Salary starts from NPR 30,000 to NPR 60,000 a month
• A salary is based upon a person's performance, not directly upon hours worked
• Your performance and pay amount will be reviewed once every six months following the Company’s timetable on evaluation. Depending on your performance and contribution to the team, you could get a raise.

Working Regulations:

Working Day

• Monday to Friday
• 2 off-days in a week

Working hour

• 8 hours in a day. It includes about 30 minutes of lunchtime.
• Core time is 11:00~15:00.
• You can work anytime at your own convenience: early in the morning, late at night, except for the core time.

Working location

• On the core time, you should work in the office.
• You can work anywhere at your own convenience: office, cafe or home, except for the core time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Essential - Applications that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

• At least 3 years of experience in Javascript language (ES6 or above), jQuery libraries, Ajax and other scripting models
• At least 3 years of experience in Javascript web framework or library to build a single page application e.g. React, Vue.js, Angular
• Able to write clean HTML/CSS codes based on the provided design
• Able to use SCSS/SASS, Foundation/Semantic/Bootstrap frameworks
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model and local/offline storage
• Have worked for mobile app projects using either of React Native, Swift, Android Java or Kotlin
• Enthusiasm for working for a startup
• Good communicator
• Fluent in English

Preferred - Applications that meet these requirements will be given priority.

• Outstanding knowledge of various frontend build tools
• 2+ years of experience working with Agile methodology
• Solid understanding of SDLC
• Have experienced project management
