Position: Magento Quality Assurance (Recent Job)

Job Description

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Roles:

• Mastering in understanding and monitoring the system within probation period
• Good on writing test cases, following test lifecycle and approaching to better solutions
• Proper follow up of QA lifecylce and able to coordinate with cross departments
• Development of strategy on introduction, resource, scope and schedule for test activities, test tools, test priorities, test planning and the types of test that has to be performed
• Focus on automated testing, automation script writing and use of automation tools

Job Hours:  Monday to Friday – 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Job Specification : 

• Bachelors in Computer engineering or Computer science or Information Management and relevant fields
• Must have knowledge of Magento like PHP framework
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Prior experience testing e-commerce websites is preferred
• Moderate to advanced understanding of QA automation using tools
• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
• Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser test-cases
• Good Communication Skill candidate have high preference
• Be open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
• Expertise with MySQL and DBMS Concept to create sample database for testing is plus
