Job Description
The role requires a highly qualified professional with a postgraduate degree in Education, Adult Education, or related fields such as Business, Management, or Commerce. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the education sector, with strong exposure to Vocational Education and Training in Nepal or internationally. This position involves managing academic teams, ensuring compliance with local and national education regulations, and contributing to academic research and consultancy. Excellent command of English, strong academic writing skills, advanced computer proficiency (including MS Office and AI platforms), and the ability to work under pressure while being a collaborative team player are essential.
Job Description:
- A post graduate qualifications in Education or Adult Education is preferred (but would consider candidates with post graduate qualifications in Business , Management and Commerce or related fields.
- Proven work experience of 5 years in education related field.
- Demonstrated experience in the area of Vocational Education and Training in Nepal or overseas is highly desirable.
- Experience in Managing a team of professionals in Academia in an academic institution or in an educational consultancy.
- Knowledge of local and national legislation and regulations applicable to Organization governance and staff Management.
- Good command of the English language
- Good academic writing skills in English.
- Experience in conducting academic research.
- Highly developed Computer skills including excellent MS Office skills, knowledge and practice in AI platforms
- Should be a good Team player driven by individual and team goals.
- Should be capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Should demonstrate a mature outlook in performing professional duties.
Job Specification
- Managing a team of senior Academics based in Nepal and are providing offshore services to an Education and Training consultancy based in Melbourne , Australia.
- Managing the routine, day to day tasks of the academic and admin team.
- Supervising and overseeing the function of Learning and Assessment resource Development according to Australian quality standards
- Supervising and overseeing the function of Contextualizing learning and assessment resources to requirements of the client student cohort and effecting branding, admin and academic changes to resources according to Australian quality standards.
- Managing the process of preparation of Trainer files including Trainer Matrixes, Professional Development records and Industry currency evidence.
- Managing the preparation of Industry consultation reports and other industry engagement platforms that align with Australian Quality standards.
- Performance management of staff including designing of performance standards, conducting staff appraisals, conducting training needs analysis of staff.
- Recruitment, selection and induction of staff based on organizational requirements.
- Establish and foster relationships with stakeholders including universities, training organizations, government entities etc to facilitate organizational objectives.
