Job Description

To manage, prepare, and verify all documentation related to the shipment, import/export, and regulatory compliance for business operations in Japan and Australia. Ensures all documents are accurate, submitted on time, and meet legal and client-specific requirements.

  • Prepare and verify shipping, customs, and compliance documents for exports/imports to Japan and Australia.
  • Ensure accuracy of commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other relevant documentation.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and internal logistics teams to ensure smooth documentation flow.
  • Maintain proper records of all documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies or issues related to document submission.
  • Liaise with Japanese and Australian customs or regulatory agencies when necessary.
  • Monitor changes in documentation regulations or trade policies affecting Japan or Australia.
  • Support audits by preparing and presenting required documentation.
  • Use document management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or custom ERP tools) effectively.
  • Translate or support in bilingual documentation (Japanese/English) if required.

 

Job Specification
  • Any degree accepted Japan, Korea, UK
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in documentation or logistics, preferably in Japan and/or Australia markets.
  • Understanding of international trade documentation and Incoterms.
  • Familiarity with Japan and Australia’s import/export regulations is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office and document management software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
