Raleigh has been working in Nepal since January 2015. Following the devastating earthquakes in April and May that year, we believe there is an even stronger need to work together with communities to create lasting change.
We support local partners and communities in Gorkha and Makwanpur districts – areas severely affected by the earthquakes. The focus of our work is Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Livelihoods and Youth Development.
Along with our partners we have identified the challenges facing local communities, and specifically local youth, as well as the wider picture of current development initiatives in Nepal.
