Job Description

Build the Future of Education

At Code Mantra, we're building an AI-powered education platform that helps students become the next generation of innovators, creators, and problem-solvers.

We are creating products used by:

  • Students
  • Parents
  • Teachers
  • Administrators

Our mission is to impact millions of learners globally through technology, innovation, and exceptional learning experiences.

This is an opportunity to join an ambitious early-stage company and play a key role in shaping products that will influence the future of education.

The Opportunity

  • We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who can take complete ownership of product design.
  • You will work directly with founders, engineers, curriculum experts, and operations teams to design and improve experiences across web and mobile platforms.
  • This is not a role where tasks are assigned every day with detailed instructions.
  • We are looking for a designer who can independently identify opportunities, solve problems, make decisions, and drive projects forward.
  • You won't just design screens.
  • You will help define how our products work, feel, and evolve.

Founding Designer Mindset

  • For at least the first 6 months, you will be the primary designer on the team.
  • There will not be junior designers supporting you.
  • Because of this, we are specifically looking for someone who is comfortable operating independently and taking full ownership of the design function.

You should be able to:

  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Take a business problem and convert it into a complete design solution
  • Prioritize and manage your own work
  • Drive projects from concept to implementation
  • Make informed design decisions
  • Communicate proactively
  • Solve problems without waiting for instructions
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering and leadership

We are not looking for task executors.

We are looking for builders.

What You'll Do

Product Design

  • Design intuitive web and mobile experiences
  • Create user journeys, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Design high-fidelity interfaces
  • Improve usability and user experience across products
  • Solve complex product and workflow challenges
  • Translate business requirements into elegant user experiences

Design Systems

  • Build and maintain scalable design systems
  • Create reusable components and UI patterns
  • Ensure consistency across all products
  • Improve design-to-development efficiency
  • Establish design standards and documentation

Product Thinking

  • Collaborate with founders on product strategy
  • Participate in product discovery and planning
  • Identify user pain points and opportunities
  • Balance user needs with business objectives
  • Contribute ideas that improve engagement, retention, and growth

Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineers throughout implementation
  • Provide clear design specifications and developer handoff
  • Review implementation quality
  • Participate in planning and product discussions
