Job Description

Rural Development Centre (RDC) Nepal is a non-political and non-profitable organization established in May 2002 with its head office in Rautahat District of Nepal. Since then, RDC is heavily engaged in humanitarian assistance, community development, conservation of natural resources, and environmental protection mainly in the Terai region of Nepal through the dozens of humanitarian and long-term development projects reaching out to the children, adolescent, youth, women, landless, urban poor, and people living with disabilities, HIV & AIDS, conflict and disaster survivors from the poor families of historically marginalized Dalits, Muslims, Madheshi and Indigenous communities and other underprivileged groups.

RDC Nepal has been implementing SAFE Girls Project in partnership with Good Neighbors International in 5 municipalities of Rautahat and 3 municipalities of Sarlahi District. Connecting to this program, we would like to invite application from the interested Nepalese candidates who are eligible, accountable and have the ability to deliver results with the highest level of integrity for the following positions:

Gender Project Coordinator- 1 (Based in Gaur, Rautahat)

Academic Qualification

  • Master’s Degree in Health, Sociology, Development Studies or other pertinent fields.

Key Skills and Knowledge

  • At least three years of professional experience in managerial role relevant to gender-based violence, gender equality, reproductive rights, adolescent/youth empowerment, public health, or similar.

Salary and Benefits: As per the organization’s rules and regulations.

Type of Examination: Written and Interview.
