Job Description

Center for Equal Access Development (CEAD) Nepal is a non-profit organization registered in Doti District and has been working since 2063 B.S. in the areas of health, nutrition, child protection, safe migration, child sponsorship, good governance, and other community development sectors. In partnership with World Vision International Nepal, CEAD Nepal is currently implementing the SHIELD-IPF and SOP Projects across 14 wards of Sayal Rural Municipality, Purbichauki Rural Municipality, Adarsha Rural Municipality, and Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality in Doti District.

CEAD Nepal invites applications from qualified, committed, and dynamic Nepalese candidates for the following positions:

Posiiton: Finance and Admin Officer (AFO)
No of Vacancy: 1

Qualifications and experiences

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Studies, or an equivalent field.

  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent discipline is preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience independently handling budgeting, financial accounting, planning, and financial analysis in I/NGOs, preferably within WVIN projects.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and internet usage.

  • Experience working with computerized accounting software such as IPAS, FAMAS, and PFMS.

  • Ability to lead the financial management of projects/programs and effectively link project financial management with the organization’s overall financial management system.

  • Experience in administration and procurement processes.

Position: Case Management Assistant (CMA)

Qualifications and experiences

  • Minimum Intermediate degree in related field.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in MHPSS or child protection programming.

  • At least 7 days of basic training on Psychosocial First Aid and psychosocial counselling.

  • Strong understanding of psychosocial counselling support, its’ principles and standards.

  • Strong understanding of child protection, survivor-centered approach, CP-related laws, policies and mechanisms.
    experience in delivering psychosocial first aid to children and women.

  • Exposure to case management processes is highly desirable.

  • Basic understanding of psychosocial support principles and approaches.

  • Knowledge of child protection systems, laws, and survivor-centered approaches.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.


Posiiton: Community Mobilizer-IPF
No of Vacancy: 1

Qualifications and experiences

  • Higher Secondary degree (+ 2) in any relevant field with more than 2 years’ experience in child protection Field.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Mobilize local stakeholders like child clubs, parents, teachers, and political leaders to make local level decision in protection of children and ensuring child rights

  • Regular meeting with parents and children in the communities to discuss the child protection issues and the importance of reporting the cases

  • Support Registered Children monitoring and their participation in the project activities including local level government plans

  • Support in the implementation of CFLG activities under the CP & SOP program.

  • Support in the Community consultation, MVC identification for Register Children selection

  • Support community engagement activities including the collection of information on impact stories

  • Facilitate and Support in the formation of Local level child rights committee in target area mostly in the municipal level
