Job Description
Position: Senior HR Officer
Location: Biratnagar
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior HR Officer to manage core HR operations, build people systems, and ensure compliance with Nepal’s Labour Laws and workforce regulations
Job Specification:
Manage end -to-HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee Ensure compliance with the Nepal Labour Act and statutory workforce regulations
Handle employee relations, disciplinary actions and internal controls
Implement and monitor HR polices, SOPs, and internal controls
Support performance management, attendance, leave administration, and manpower planning
Develop job profiles and support structured performance appraisal process
Lead the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of an HRIS platform-including data, migration, staff training, and process integration
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
5-6 years of HR experience, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing company in Nepal
Strong knowledge of Nepal Labour Laws and HR compliance
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated know-how of operating and implementing HRIS platforms-hands-on experience with systems rollout and training strongly preferred
