Job Description
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing fertility treatment, including but not limited to IVF, IUI, and other assisted reproductive technologies.
- Perform patient assessments, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs, to assist in developing individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, identifying any changes in condition and reporting them promptly to the medical team.
- Educate patients and their families about fertility treatments, medication administration, and self-care practices to optimize treatment outcomes.
- Assist physicians during procedures, ensuring proper sterile technique and patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting all patient interactions, procedures, and treatments.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families, addressing concerns and providing reassurance throughout the fertility treatment process.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, embryologists, and support staff, to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless communication.
- Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and best practices related to nursing care, patient safety, and infection control.
Job Specification
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN), PCL
- Valid nursing license in Nursing
- Experience in reproductive health or fertility care is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong clinical skills, including patient assessment, medication administration, and critical thinking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact compassionately and effectively with patients and their families.
