Job Description
- Provide individual and couples counseling to patients undergoing fertility treatment, addressing emotional and psychological needs.
- Conduct initial assessments to evaluate patients' emotional well-being and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Offer guidance and support to patients in coping with the emotional challenges of infertility, including stress, grief, and relationship issues.
- Facilitate support groups and educational workshops on topics related to fertility, family building, and emotional wellness.
- Collaborate with medical and allied health professionals to ensure holistic care for patients.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all counseling interactions.
Job Specification
- Bachelor or master degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Experience in providing counseling or therapy, preferably in a reproductive health or infertility setting.
- Knowledge of infertility treatments, reproductive physiology, and family systems theory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients.
- Sensitivity to cultural and diversity issues in counseling practice.
