Job Description

Position Summary

We are looking for a Customer Support Representative who is empathetic, tech-savvy, and has a strong understanding of student and academic needs. You will serve as the first point of contact for users, ensuring they receive fast, friendly, and knowledgeable assistance via chat, email, or phone.


Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to user inquiries via email, chat, or call.

  • Guide users through website features, account setup, application processes, and other services.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems to the technical team.

  • Collect feedback and user suggestions to help improve platform usability and services.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using CRM or support software.

  • Collaborate with content, tech, and operations teams to improve user experience.

  • Stay informed about academic programs, deadlines, and platform updates to assist users accurately.

 

Job Specification

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field (Education, Communications, or IT preferred).

  • Prior experience in customer support, preferably in tech, education, or digital platforms.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Nepali (both written and spoken).

  • Familiarity with helpdesk tools (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom) is a plus.

  • Ability to empathize with users and resolve issues with patience and clarity.

  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Knowledge of scholarships, student programs, or the academic space is a bonus.
