Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle all transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Greet customers and respond to their inquiries in a friendly manner
- Operate cash registers and handle various payment types (cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments)
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change as necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
- Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts
- Assist with stocking shelves and other store duties as needed
- Follow all store procedures and guidelines
Job Specification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
