Job Description
The Office Engineer will be responsible for supporting project planning, documentation, billing, and coordination activities for the Middle Mewa Hydropower Project. The role requires strong technical understanding, reporting skills, and the ability to work closely with site teams, contractors, and management to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical & Documentation
- Prepare Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) and collect Joint Measurement Sheets (JMS) for billing purposes.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records, drawings, and technical files.
- Assist in preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Support in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities.
Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate effectively with site teams, contractors, consultants, and project management.
- Ensure seamless communication between office and site teams to support smooth workflow.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining project meetings, minutes, and follow-up actions.
Billing, Procurement & Tracking
- Support procurement activities including material tracking and stock monitoring.
- Assist in preparing contractor bills, quantity verification, and cost-related documentation.
- Ensure timely collection and verification of field data required for billing and reporting.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hydropower projects (mandatory).
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project documentation.
- Good communication, coordination, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working at hydropower project sites.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of hydropower construction practices and technical standards.
