Job Description

The Reporting Officer (Finance) will be responsible for maintaining and analyzing client-related data using internal software systems. This includes ensuring timely updates of documents, following up on expirations of various client related documents, understanding available budget of each client and expenditure from the budget, and identifying critical insights from day to day transactions with clients. The role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team to ensure smooth data operations and accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain internal data management software for storing and updating client records.
  • Regularly follow up with management to update expired or missing documents.
  • Upload new or updated documents into the system accurately and timely.
  • Monitor the progress of tasks and provide regular updates and reports to the management team.
  • Review available budget of each client and calculate remaining amount after expenditure made. Report management if the amount available in budget is below threshold limit for each client.
  • Summarize and present reportable issues in a predefined reporting format with high standards of accuracy and grammar.
  • Ensure all reported data are technically and arithmetically sound and professionally documented.
  • Collaborate with the team in task execution and support in process improvement.
  • Demonstrate a skeptical yet solution-oriented approach toward budget analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and be capable of handling unexpected situations with maturity and professionalism.
  • Uphold humility, teamwork, and continuous learning as core work values.

 

Job Specification

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance/management or a relevant field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in data handling, analysis. reporting and documentation.
  • Preference will be given to candidates from the finance field.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Basic understanding of budget preparation and related calculations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and data entry software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
  • Good time management and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to handle sensitive or urgent matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
