Job Description
  • Closely work with Coordinator, in planning the academic calendar inclusive of academic and administrative activities.
  • Assist the Coordinator in managing and running the respective department smoothly by administering academic activities efficiently and maintaining good coordination with faculties.
  • Maintain close coordination with other departments/Sections i.e. administration, Logistics, account, examinations, library, and other authorities, whenever required.
  • Play a proactive role in the creation of an academically conducive environment; maintain harmony between teachers, students, and staff.
  • Assist to organize regular interaction with the teacher/ students and address their issues and suggestions to the extent of his/her capacity or in consultation with the coordinator.
  • Assist in taking charge of all the programs the School of Hotel Management assigns.
  • Coordinate with Exams Coordinator for internal assessments, pre-board, board, and practical examinations.
  • Assist the Exams Coordinator with data checking and validation.
  • Assist the Examination Coordinator to ensure the management of examinations including support with the implementation of access arrangements.
  • Preparation for examination timetables and liaising with invigilators.
  • Assist with producing information from timetables and registers as required.
  • Liaise with academic staff to ensure student records are complete and up-to-date.
  • Responsible for daily reporting of activities to the program coordinator, School of Hotel Management.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
