Position: Commi II Pastry (Premium Job)

Job Description

• To assist the Pastry Chef in overseeing the daily pastry operation, safe food handling of pastry personnel in conjunction with the Sanitation Officer and maintenance of all pastry equipment.
• To take active part in the actual food preparation.
• To ensure that desserts and pastries are consistently prepared according to the highest possible standards.
• To ensure that any maintenance issues in the pastry areas are reported in a timely manner and that the work orders are followed up on accordingly.
• To adhere to all company policies and procedures, manuals and directives.
• To monitor and control the use of consumables in the pastry department.
• Able to develop, designs, or creates new ideas and items for Pastry Kitchen.
• To ensure that company property is maintained properly and treated with respect at all times.
• Ensure excellent quality throughout the dessert offerings.

Job Specification

• Good knowledge of different types of pastry, dessert, cake decorating.
• Positive attitude and Good communication skills.
• Previous work experience in hositality industry in star property will highly preferable.
