Job Description

To assist the Pastry Chef in overseeing the daily pastry operation, safe food handling of pastry personnel in conjunction with the Sanitation Officer and maintenance of all pastry equipment.

To take active part in the actual food preparation.

To ensure that desserts and pastries are consistently prepared according to the highest possible standards.

To ensure that any maintenance issues in the pastry areas are reported in a timely manner and that the work orders are followed up on accordingly.

To adhere to all company policies and procedures, manuals and directives.

To monitor and control the use of consumables in the pastry department.
- Able to develop, designs, or creates new ideas and items for Pastry Kitchen.

To ensure that company property is maintained properly and treated with respect at all times.
- Ensure excellent quality throughout the dessert offerings.
Job Specification
- Good knowledge of different types of pastry, dessert, cake decorating.
- Positive attitude and Good communication skills.
- Previous work experience in hositality industry in star property will highly preferable.
