Job Description

The Head of Finance and Accounts is responsible for compliance of the Company's financial and fiscal policies, providing leadership and coordination in business planning, financial performance, accounting and Budgeting efforts.

S/he will report into the Chairman and Board of directors. And is responsible for all financial matters of the company. S/he must be able to adapt to a continually evolving environment and thrive in an autonomous and deadline-oriented workplace while building and managing the finance function.

The position will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Monitoring cash flow and reports across all channels of our website, and all market places for complete accuracy along with team targets.
• Planning and monitoring expenses, and ensuring for the least amount of deviation from the usual spends across teams
• Day to day accounting of sales, purchases, expenses, and vendor billing
• Monitoring all company secretary activities, ROC, and liaising with auditors and bankers for filling
• GST and tax management
• Providing MIS and Analytical reports monthly
• Managing the due diligence
• Maintaining banking relationships with our partners
• Jotting down the business plan and budgets for the same
• To be able to lead the finance team of 8-10 employees

Job Specification

• 8 - 15 years, preferably from regulated Financial Service organizations
• Have or acquired a deep understanding of reconciliation and sales and is able to identify early indicators of risks
• Excellent analytical skills, motivated, hardworking and self-driven leader
• A Master's Degree in Finance / Professional Finance Qualification / CA/ ACCA or equivalent
• The leader is expected be a team player with experience in managing people and projects, a self-motivator with a pro-active attitude and with proficiency in SAP/Oracle/Tally/MS Office Applications
• Ability to interact with stakeholders internal and external is essential
