Job Description

Financial and Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely payments of staff salaries and other official transactions without any delays.
  • Monitor and ensure proper handling of office petty cash.
  • Update the financial status of organization to the internal stakeholder.
  • Assist on planning process and preparation of annual budgets of the organization.
  • Timely release and settlement of project expenses and advances.
  • Prepare financial reports of programs and operations.
  • Maintain and timely deposit tax in Inland Revenue Office.
  • Handling stock ledger.
  • Support senior accountant and other concerned staff of district office as per the need on regular basis.
  • Maintain close coordination with concerned finance staffs of district office for better financial management.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Look after the day to day administrative functions of organization by mobilizing other support staffs.
  • Follow-up and ensure for maintaining effective filling system.
  • Facilitate and ensure timely procurement of goods and materials as assigned by the manager following all the procurement procedures and getting approval from Procurement committee of organization.
  • Monitor and guide support staffs and ensure day to day cleaning and maintenance of office premises.
  • Prepare and update contracts with landlords, employees and other consultants and maintain all records in systematic order.
  • Manage recruiting and selection process for new hires.
  • Maintain effective coordination with all staff members of central and district offices for better outputs in financial and administrative management.
Job Specification
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Nepali
  • Knowledge of Accounting Entries
  • Good knowledge of Excel and strong database skills.
  • Strong financial and analytical ability.
  • Able to work independently and self motivated.
  • Working knowledge of business management.
