Job Description
Peaceful Education Foundation is seeking a qualified and dedicated Japanese Language Instructor to teach and mentor students aiming to learn the Japanese language for academic, professional, or cultural purposes. The instructor will be responsible for delivering structured lessons, preparing students for JLPT exams, and fostering an engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Japanese language classes (beginner to intermediate level)
- Prepare students for JLPT (N5 to N3) and other proficiency exams
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback
- Conduct oral, written, and listening assessments
- Encourage cultural understanding by incorporating aspects of Japanese lifestyle and etiquette into lessons
- Maintain discipline and motivation in the classroom
- Participate in school events and student orientation programs as required
Job Specification
- JLPT N3 or higher certification is mandatory
- Prior teaching experience is preferred
- Strong command of Japanese and Nepali (English is a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about teaching and student development
- Punctual, reliable, and professional in conduct
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools (Zoom, PowerPoint, etc.) is a plus
