Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant with 1–2 years of accounting experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, preparing reports, and supporting the overall accounting operations. Candidates with prior experience in the trading industry will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
Prepare and process journal entries, invoices, and payments.
Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Monitor and manage petty cash transactions.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation when required.
Assist in inventory and stock reconciliation (for trading operations).

Job Specification

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience (experience in a trading company preferred).
Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP, or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Good communication and organizational skills.
