Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Mid-Level Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, managing accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring compliance with tax and labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain day-to-day financial records including journals, ledgers, and bank reconciliation
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and follow-ups
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements, cash flow, and petty cash
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and audits
- Ensure compliance with Nepali tax regulations (VAT, TDS, Income Tax)
- Prepare and file VAT and Tax Returns accurately and on time
- Liaise with auditors, vendors, and internal departments for financial clarity
- Support payroll management in coordination with the HR team
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records
Job Specification
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a service or manpower agency
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Swastik, or other ERP)
- Strong knowledge of Nepal’s taxation system and compliance guidelines
- Hands-on experience in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- High attention to detail, integrity, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
