Job Description

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, accounting, compliance, and reporting functions. The role requires strong financial leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to support business decisions through accurate financial analysis and control.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Control

Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and cost controls to ensure financial stability.
Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management for decision-making.
Establish and maintain internal financial controls and policies.

Accounting & Reporting

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AR, AP, general ledger, and payroll coordination.
Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records in compliance with accounting standards.
Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

Compliance & Taxation

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including tax laws, VAT, income tax, CIT, SSF and local regulations.
Manage timely filing of tax returns, statutory reports, and regulatory documentation.
Liaise with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Business Support & Strategy

Provide financial evaluation for new projects, contracts, and investments.
Support pricing decisions, profitability analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.
Assist leadership with strategic planning, risk assessment, and financial modeling.

Team & Stakeholder Management

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial discipline across the organization.
Manage relationships with banks, investors, vendors, and financial partners.

Job Specification

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
CA / CPA / CMA / ACCA or MBA (Finance) preferred.

Experience

Minimum 5–6years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial position.
Experience in service, hospitality, or multi-location operations is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
