Job Description

Retail Outlet Operations:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of physical retail stores.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure proper stock availability.
  • Optimize store layouts and visual merchandising for maximum sales and customer experience.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service and resolve any customer-related issues.
  • Implement store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Monitor staff performance and schedule shifts.

E-Commerce Operations:

  • Oversee online store operations, including managing product listings, promotions, and updates.
  • Work closely with the IT and marketing teams to optimize the website and customer journey.
  • Ensure efficient order fulfillment and shipping processes, collaborating with logistics providers.
  • Manage e-commerce inventory in sync with the physical store inventory.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize the online sales strategy.
  • Manage customer service processes for online orders, handling returns, exchanges, and complaints.

Supply Chain & Inventory Management:

  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure a consistent flow of stock for both retail and e-commerce.
  • Track inventory levels and sales performance to forecast demand accurately.
  • Implement systems for inventory management across both platforms to avoid stockouts or overstocking.

Sales & Financial Monitoring:

  • Monitor sales performance for both retail and online channels, adjusting strategies to achieve targets.
  • Analyze costs, margins, and other financial aspects to ensure profitability.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales, inventory, and operational performance for management.

Team Management:

  • Manage and lead a team of store staff, e-commerce specialists, and customer service teams.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to staff, ensuring alignment with company values and operational excellence.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative work environment across both retail and online teams.

Customer Experience and Feedback:

  • Ensure an excellent customer experience, both online and in-store, by gathering feedback and implementing improvements.
  • Develop strategies to engage and retain customers, including loyalty programs and targeted promotions.

 

Job Specification
  • Operational Management: Ability to manage and streamline day-to-day operations for both retail outlets and e-commerce platforms.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management: Strong knowledge of managing inventory levels and supply chain logistics.
  • E-Commerce Platforms: Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and understanding of digital marketing strategies.
  • Customer Service: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and handling complaints effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and sales trends to make informed operational decisions.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills to coordinate between retail and online teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify operational challenges and implement solutions quickly.
  • A degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Experience in retail management or e-commerce operations is highly valuable
