Position SummaryCedar Gate Technologies, an IQVIA business, is looking to hire the Senior Director, General Manager, Asian Operations, (SGA) who will serve as the senior executive leader for Nepal operations, guiding the organization’s overall performance, stability, and long ‑ term growth. This role requires a strategic, influential leader who can shape direction, drive alignment across global teams, and represent the region’s needs and capabilities at the enterprise level.
The SGA provides both high ‑ level strategic leadership and hands ‑ on operational oversight, ensuring the office operates efficiently, securely, and in full support of Cedar Gate’s global objectives. A critical element of the role is cultivating a strong organizational culture for promoting collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
This leader will play a key role in influencing enterprise strategy by identifying opportunities, anticipating operational impacts, and advising executive stakeholders on regional priorities and risks. The SGA partners closely with Cedar Gate’s Executive Team and U.S. senior leaders to set clear priorities, advance operational excellence, and develop the talent, structure, and capabilities needed to support continued organizational success across Nepal.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as the primary executive liaison between the Nepal office and the Cedar Gate Executive Team
- Define and execute the strategic vision, operating model, and long-term goals for the Nepal office
- Translate enterprise strategy into actionable operational plans and measurable outcomes
- Serve as an executive sponsor for key initiatives impacting Asian operations
- Maintain full accountability for day-to-day operations of the Nepal office, ensuring continuity, efficiency, and compliance
- Oversee project delivery, resource planning, and capacity management to meet business demand
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at established quality standards
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, security, and project-related risks
- Partner with managers and functional leaders to remove impediments and resolve escalations
- Mentor and develop leadership talent, building a strong succession pipeline
- Monitor resource utilization, productivity, and performance, holding leaders accountable to results
- Foster a high performing, engaged, and compliant workplace culture
- Coordinate with U.S.-based department heads and global stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and alignment across regions
- Serve as the escalation point for cross-border operational and delivery issues
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Establish and enforce access management standards, including least privilege access and timely deprovisioning
- Serve as a standing member of the Security Committee, contributing to risk management and governance

Required Experience / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 12+ years of progressive experience in operations, technology, or global delivery leadership
- Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-functional operations with full site accountability
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and global stakeholders
- Excellent communication, people leadership, and decision-making skills
