Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our eCommerce team. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, some experience in accounting, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. This role involves managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the company. If you're detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to make an impact, we’d love to have you on board!
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and invoicing.
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports.
- Process payroll and manage employee expense reimbursements.
- Assist in preparing tax filings and financial audits.
- Monitor company’s financial transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting efforts as needed.
Job Specification
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role (preferred but not required).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Problem-solving attitude and a proactive approach to work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with eCommerce businesses or online financial management (bonus).
- Knowledge of financial reporting and audit processes.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and filing procedures.
