Job Description
As a UX/UI Designer at Just WebOps, you will work closely with our Australian strategy, design, and development teams to create engaging, intuitive, and visually stunning digital experiences. From user research and wireframes to high-fidelity UI mockups and design systems, you’ll be a critical part of delivering products users love.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with project managers, strategists, and developers to understand project goals and user needs
- Create user flows, wireframes, low- and high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Design responsive interfaces for websites, apps, dashboards, and eCommerce platforms
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
- Participate in UX research activities (user testing, heuristic analysis, competitive analysis)
- Maintain and evolve design systems and style guides for brand consistency
- Clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to clients and internal teams
- Iterate designs based on feedback, user insights, and performance data
Job Specification
- 3+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, preferably in an agency or fast-paced environment
- Proficient in design tools like Figma (primary), Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and grid systems
- Strong UX foundation — can create user flows, journey maps, and interactive prototypes
- Experience designing for WordPress, Shopify, or web apps (bonus if you’ve worked with component-based systems)
- Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design
- Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JS) to collaborate with developers effectively
- Strong attention to detail and passion for clean, modern design
- Good communication skills in English and ability to present work confidently
- Bonus: Experience with Webflow, motion design, or accessibility (WCAG)
