Job Description
Store Keeper cum Site Accountant
Location: Dhalkebar 20 MW Solar PV Project — Bardibas, Mahottari
Employment Type: Full-time
What You'll Do
* Receive materials & equipment: check quantity and condition against dispatch documents; raise Goods Received Notes
* Track high-value assets: record serial numbers of modules and inverters; maintain bin cards and the stock register
* Control the store: store materials safely, issue against approved requisitions, and keep proper issue records
* Verify stock: conduct periodic physical stock counts and report variances
* Manage site cash: handle petty cash and site imprest, local purchases, and day-to-day site expenses
* Maintain accounts documentation: keep vouchers and supporting bills; apply VAT/PAN and TDS discipline on local payments
* Report to Head Office: record entries in Tally and submit periodic site expense and stock statements
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Management (or +2 with relevant experience)
* Prior experience in store keeping and/or site accounts, preferably on a construction or infrastructure project
* Honest and disciplined in documentation, with the ability to control both cash and high-value stock
* Comfortable working full-time at a project site
Technical Skills
* Tally (proficiency required) and Microsoft Excel
* Understanding of VAT/PAN and TDS requirements on local payments
* Familiarity with stock records, bin cards, and goods receipt procedures
Preferred Experience
* Background in solar, hydropower, or renewable energy projects
* Familiarity with solar or electrical materials
* Experience handling stores on an EPC or contractor-run site
* Knowledge of inventory reconciliation or store audit procedures
