Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Chef specializing in Indian and Mediterranean cuisines, located in Lazimpat. The Head Chef will oversee the preparation and presentation of dishes, ensure consistent quality, and manage the kitchen team effectively. Responsibilities also include crafting innovative grill-focused menus, maintaining inventory, ensuring food safety standards, and collaborating with the management team to enhance the overall dining experience.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Indian and Mediterranean cuisines, including experience in preparing traditional and fusion dishes
- Skills in menu planning, food presentation, and high-quality grill techniques
- Leadership and team management skills, with experience in training and supervising kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen efficiency standards
- Ability to innovate and create dishes that align with Aza Courtyard's social and relaxed atmosphere
- Experience in working in fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environments focused on customer satisfaction
- Proficiency in inventory management and waste reduction
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
