Position Summary
We are seeking dynamic and result-oriented Sales Officers to drive market expansion, strengthen distribution networks, and achieve sales targets across assigned territories. The role demands strong field execution, distributor management, and hands-on market engagement within the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned sales targets and ensure consistent growth.
- Supervise and guide Junior Sales Officers, Supervisors, and Distributors (DS).
- Develop and execute route plans for field teams.
- Ensure proper implementation of FIFO (First-In-First-Out) across distributor warehouses.
- Conduct regular visits to distributors, wholesalers, and retail outlets.
- Manage and follow up on claim settlements.
- Oversee transfer of non-moving/slow-moving stock.
- Monitor performance and consistently meet/exceed KPIs.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in FMCG sales.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in well-established FMCG food companies with strong distribution networks
Job Specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for reporting).
- Experience with sales automation apps/tools.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of distribution networks and market dynamics.
- Must have a valid two-wheeler driving license and own vehicle.
