Job DescriptionOur Client, Ace Higher Secondary School is hiring Middle School Mathematics Teacher.
The Middle School Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging science lessons to middle school students while fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and practical learning. The role involves lesson planning, classroom instruction, student evaluation, and maintaining effective communication with students, parents, and school administration. The teacher must adopt activity-based learning methods and flipped classroom pedagogy to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
- Plan and deliver effective science lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Implement activity-based learning and flipped classroom pedagogy in daily teaching practices.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity and scientific thinking.
- Encourage student participation in practical and interactive learning activities.
- Prepare and submit lesson plans in a timely manner.
- Regularly update subject materials, resources, and assignments in the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Provide assignments and learning materials to students to support their academic progress.
- Conduct student assessments including quizzes, tests, and examinations.
- Set question papers and conduct viva sessions when required.
- Invigilate during examinations and quizzes.
- Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Submit marks on time for preparation of academic results.
- Monitor and support students’ academic progress and overall development.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance.
- Collaborate with administrators and other faculty members to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Supervise students during academic and co-curricular activities.
- Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
- Contribute to maintaining a disciplined and structured learning environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Science or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably at the middle school level.
- Strong knowledge of science concepts and teaching methodologies.
- Ability to apply activity-based learning and flipped classroom techniques.
- Excellent lesson planning and classroom management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively use digital tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Good evaluation and student assessment skills.
- Passionate about teaching and student development.
- Patient, approachable, and supportive towards students.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an academic team.
