Role Overview – Study Abroad Destination Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Destination Manager to join our Kathmandu office. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role responsible for driving student recruitment success and managing high-performing counseling teams. The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, delivering exceptional student experiences, strengthening partnerships with international institutions, and strategically driving conversions through effective sales and negotiation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious recruitment targets and contribute to organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of study abroad counselors to achieve performance targets
- Deliver outstanding student engagement and advisory services throughout the journey
- Build and strengthen relationships with global partner institutions
- Drive sales strategies and conversion optimization
- Negotiate effectively with students and stakeholders to secure successful placements
- Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless operations and goal alignment
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in international student recruitment or study abroad counseling
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer relationship management skills
- Proven track record in sales performance and negotiation
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment
