Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kathmandu for a Social Media Content Creator. The role involves producing engaging content across various social media platforms, crafting captivating captions, and managing post-scheduling to ensure consistent audience engagement. You will collaborate closely with the creative team to develop unique social media strategies and use analytics to optimize content performance. Supporting influencer campaigns, monitoring emerging trends, and engaging with the online community will also be core responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media & Content Strategy

  • Develop platform-specific content strategies for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn aligned with company goals and  brand awareness.
  • Stay updated with algorithm changes and recommend new formats.
  • Plan and manage monthly content calendars balancing organic engagement with promotional campaigns.
  • Performance Analytics: Track, analyze, and optimize campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and platform insights, providing actionable reports.


2. Content Creation & Production

  • Creation of Short-form videos (Reels/TikTok Posts),Static posts, carousels, stories,Captions, blogs,etc
  • Confidently appear on camera when required to represent the brand and create engaging content.
  • Conduct in-house/outdoor shoots with creators and team members.
  • Maintain a digital asset library of photos, videos,posts and templates.
  • Ensure all content follows brand guidelines and legal compliance.


3. Trends Update Ownership

  • Track global and Nepali social media trends daily.
  • Provide real-time content ideas responding to viral moments.
  • Prepare trends/insight briefs to educate internal teams.
  • Research competitors’ content and audience interests.


4. Analytics & Optimization

  • Monitor performance metrics: reach, engagement, watch time, retention.
  • Optimize posting time, hashtag strategy, and content mix.
  • Prepare monthly insights presentations with improvement plans.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Mandatory).
  • Experience: 2–3 years of experience in social media management 
  • Technical Skills: CapCut , Canva, and content planning tools.
  • Content Skills: Strong content creation and storytelling ability with a deep understanding of social media trends and audience behavior.
  • On-Camera Confidence: Comfortable and confident speaking in front of the camera and representing the brand in video content.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, creativity, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Portfolio: Must present previous work, including successful campaigns and measurable results.
