Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Video Editor, based in Kathmandu. The Video Editor will manage all aspects of video production, including editing raw footage, color correction, audio synchronization, and special effects. The role entails working closely with creative teams to transform concepts into visually compelling videos for marketing campaigns, social media, and client projects. Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to meet tight deadlines are essential for this position.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software
- Skills in motion graphics and visual effects using tools like After Effects or similar applications
- Knowledge of video production techniques, such as color grading, audio synchronization, and footage organization
- Experience with storytelling, pacing, and editing techniques tailored to various digital platforms
- Familiarity with social media content creation and optimizing videos for diverse platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
- Strong time and project management skills with attention to deadlines
- Ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams and clients
- Strong communication skills for understanding project requirements and giving/receiving constructive feedback
- A degree in film production, multimedia, or related fields is a plus
- Experience in the digital marketing industry and a strong creative portfolio are advantageous
