Head – Digital & Social Media Communications (Reputation & Leadership Branding)Role Summary
The Head of Digital & Social Media Communications will be the single point owner of Group-wide reputation management, responsible for shaping, protecting, and amplifying the corporate and leadership narrative across all digital ecosystems.
This role will move the organization from reactive PR to proactive narrative control, ensuring that CG Corp Global is consistently positioned as a trusted national institution and globally respected business group, while safeguarding its reputation across markets.
Team Leadership
- Lead and build:
- Digital PR & Social Media Team
- Digital Monitoring & Analytics Function
- Global PR Coordination Network
- Manage agencies across international markets
- Strategic Reputation Leadership (Core Mandate)
- Own the long-term narrative architecture of the Group
- Position the organization as:
- A nation-building institution
- A global Nepali success story
- Drive unified storytelling across Businesses, Geographies , Leadership communication
- Build narratives around: Legacy & credibility , Economic contribution , Global expansion , Responsible business practices
- Proactive Narrative & Risk Management
- Shift the organization from crisis response to risk anticipation
- Identify and track vulnerabilities such as:
- Product quality concerns
- Regulatory or compliance issues
- Monopoly or dominance narratives
- Environmental & ESG criticism
- Political sentiment risks
- Develop pre-emptive communication strategies before issues escalate
- Digital Intelligence & Monitoring Ecosystem
- Build and institutionalize a real-time digital listening system
- Implement tools to track: Social sentiment, Media narratives, Viral trends and misinformation, Influencer and political commentary
- Create command dashboards for leadership visibility
- Establish early warning systems for reputational risks
- Crisis Communication & Governance
- Design and implement a 3-tier crisis management framework:
- Level 1: Social/digital noise → rapid response
- Level 2: Media escalation → structured communication
- Level 3: Regulatory/political → leadership + legal intervention
- Define:
- Escalation matrix
- Response timelines (within hours)
- Spokesperson protocols
- Act as central crisis commander during reputation-sensitive situations
- Social Media & Public Narrative Management
- Own strategy for all corporate and leadership digital platforms:
- Corporate pages (CG Corp Global, group brands)
- Leadership profiles (Chairman, MDs)
- Define:
- Content tone and voice
- Response frameworks for negative comments
- Engagement protocols
- Balance:
- Real-time engagement
- Long-term brand building
- Leadership Branding & Positioning
- Build and manage the public persona of key leaders
- Position leadership as: Thought leaders, Nation builders, Industry influencers
- Drive: Strategic visibility (media, digital, events), Content pipelines (opinions, interviews, narratives), Consistency across leadership voices
- Centralized Reputation Ownership
- Act as single point of accountability for: Corporate reputation, Leadership reputation, Digital narrative across all businesses
- Ensure alignment across: Nepal, India, Global markets
- Global PR & Digital Coordination
- Coordinate with: Regional PR teams, International agencies, Business unit communication leads
- Ensure: Consistent messaging globally, Local adaptation without narrative dilution
- Content & Campaign Strategy
- Drive high-impact digital storytelling campaigns
- Oversee: Reputation-building content, Crisis counter-narratives, Corporate storytelling
- Collaborate with marketing for: Visual identity, Branding consistency
- Data-Driven Decision Making
- Define and track KPIs such as: Sentiment score, Share of voice, Crisis response time, Leadership visibility index
- Use insights to continuously refine narrative strategy
- Establish Group Reputation Strategy Blueprint
- Implement real-time digital monitoring dashboard
- Create Crisis Management Playbook
- Build Leadership Branding Framework
- Launch proactive reputation campaigns
- Reduce negative sentiment incidents and improve response time
- Strengthen leadership visibility across digital platforms
Experience
- 12–18+ years in:
